RE: An "official" web site that lists it

Yes, I know of at least one off hand.... My site's lyrics are considered official lyrics and was approved in the '90s by both the band and Allen Klein back then. The lyrics page here was the very first site on the internet to have all of the Stones lyrics up on the net and approved by both Stones groups who controlled them. I got my instructions by Klein himself, on how to set up at least all of the songs that he controlled, and he sent me the email as to who to contract in the Stones office for their other songs made after '72.

I first wrote Klein thanks to my friend who was a longtime Stones insider (and personal friend to both Mick and Keith) who did work for him on and off since the early '70s. This all took place around the time he started to get sick, which was too bad since I would had liked to have asked him a ton of other questions, but time was running out for him fast as far as running his own office and business, and being able to remember things. If I recall correctly (and I may be off a year or 2 here), he was no longer reachable by 1999. Even my friend never heard from him again after that, even if he lived to around '09.

So yes, those are the correct lyrics for that song. As far as the other sites having the lyrics down wrong, yes, there are many. But I have in the past seen at least a few sites that have the correct lyrics for this one song down right. Plus I do recall that the lyrics were incorrect when they were first published, so it wasn't always just a internet thing. That happens, and although they got corrected off line years ago, I guess most of these web sites never changed the mistake. But again, the bottom line is to listen to the song and hear Keith clearly sing "he", and again, it would make no sense if it was "she", no matter want meaning of the word "green" is used.
