Well, I'm finally getting around to watching the new season of Twin Peaks and although I may not make it all the way through because it is just simply too damn weird and demands too much patience I'll be damned if I'm not a sucker for some of David Lynch's preferred types of music. Namely, dream-pop. Now, I know what kind of board this is and that many here won't like this, but seriously, this song by "The Chromatics" (which was performed at the end of the first episode) is pretty freaking smooth:

(p.s. I of course love ONLY my wife, but I can't deny being hypnotized by the eyes of the singer in that video. In fact, my wife will no doubt be hypnotized too when she sees them..)
But anyway, does anyone have any recommendations on TV shows and music? I thought the 1st season of Westworld (HBO) had a pretty cool soundtrack, and The Leftovers (also HBO) also used music to great effect in all 3 of its seasons. When done right, TV can expose and push songs farther than they would have gone on their own. The Stones knew and discovered this quite early, pioneers of music-visuals as they are...
