What a wonderful nod to a great group that is so overlooked, even today. To sort-of quote the Stones, they are a wonder and "a mystery I [still) can't de-mystify--oh no no."
Right off the cuff, I want to say that I was listening to Link Wray last week, who is still incredibly new, at least TO ME, and I couldn't help but notice that Milk-Cow Blues, the lead-off track from The Kink Kontroversy album, seems to borrow from the aforementioned man a lot. I think Link Wray, and the Kinks themselves, don't get enough credit!
But that is what we (and boards like us) are here for, right????
