What about the 1st 4 Beatles records, Keno?
That would be a perfect example of why I hate mono. The only thing wrong with the early Beatles records, were they were made in mono. That, and when they first started to use stereo, they didn't have a clue on how to program with it. Singing only came out of one speaker while the instruments out of the other. But in time, they learned how to use what was really still a new technology. The first stereo recording might had been made in the 1930s, but it wasn't until 1958 when the first true stereo album was released, so that's why at first the Beatles music was recorded in mono, as stereo didn't really catch on until around 1964 or so.
