Its true that lennon probably would have been stalked by this guy wherever he lived unless he kept his place of residence more isolated and obscure?I seem to recall lennon telling all the newspapers where he was living afew times between 1975 and 80 and then he agreed to do that big spread in that magazine that chapman apparently read,i bought it myself prior to lennons death and it showed alot of pics of lennon in his living room,bedroom and on the roof of the dakotain 1980.The name of the magazine currently escapes me but ill remember it shortly.Oh yes esquire magazine.At the time of his death there was no internet so it was much harder to find out where most celebrities were living or frequenting,especially if they had several residences,but lennon made his usual whereabouts quite accesible to the scumwad who killed him.And walking around ny city as opposed to many other places without bodyguards made lennon vulnerable to being robbed assulted or hassled by anyone? Yes he could have been robbed or accosted in any bumfuck small city in the world but ny city is quite a dangerious place for a multi millionaire celebrity to stroll around without bodyguards or a gun?And at the time of his death lennon was arguably except for world leaders in the political realm and perhaps maybe muhammewd ali,the most famious man in the world! And i dont recall alot of other celebrities often telling everyone where he lived like lennon did,pre internet?When was the last time robert conrad or clint eastwood told everyone where they were living?
