I think I've agreed with a lot you have said. I think it's a sad fact that celebrities like Lennon can become targets. Nobody could blame Lennon for wanting to live as 'normal' a life as possible, but that's the thing, when you're John Lennon the chances of that are reduced considerably. The naivety of Lennon was perhaps thinking that he could. Intrusive and un natural as it might have seemed to Lennon, a few bodyguards around him might have prevented Chapman getting a shot at him, and killing him.....it would have reduced the chance of it happening the way it did, anyway.
