Great quote from Joni Mitchel about Bob Dylan (taken from a recent article I found in the Atlantic)
“Bob is not authentic at all,” Joni Mitchell told The Los Angeles Times in 2010, referring, of course, to Bob Dylan. “He’s a plagiarist, and his name and voice are fake. Everything about Bob is a deception.”
Let's get the torches and head to Bob Dylan's house now!!!
Actually, many people do plagiarise, and sometimes without being totally aware of it. It is STILL plagiarism and they should be accountable for it, but they not have intended it in the same way that other do. There have been major journalists who placed other articles beside their own on a computer screen, with the intent to borrow points, arguments, and ideas and re-word them (which is not an offence) and then they've got confused and forgot what they are doing, and the article they are using for research ends up in their article. I am not sure if that happened to Bob Dylan, but its just an idea.
