Yeah the beatles were the most celebrated,imitated,purchased,talked about,influencial recording act in the history of music,no one comes close.Now if you mention the great classical masters in the same breath as the beatles then you might have a case.But of course your opinins are duly noted jaded faded your an articulate poster.They saw beauty is in the eye of the beer holder er i mean beholder so everyone sees and hears any art form differently.As well they should.I never viewed the beatles as overrated they were good at everything as keith richards noted,a tight unit.
