No sorry, I don't remember several months ago asking you to debate with me. I do remember saying something to the effect that I thought it was unfortunate that you had decided not to debate with me, but I totally accepted your decision....that is not asking you to debate with me.....if you have changed your mind however then feel free to read my posts, and debate away....word of caution though.....remember your reason in the first instance for deciding not to debate with me anymore i.e. 'pluto doesn't debate fair'.....I don't think my style has changed any.
apologies if my little attempt at some levity wasn't seen that way, maybe a lol should have been stuck on the end.
I disagree with you on the song 'I Wanna Be Your Man', I don't think it is a great song but a mediocre one, and I think that's why the Stones got it. When they were writing it I think it was always Lennon/McCartney's intention that it would be a 'Ringo song' or a giveaway. Of course it ended up both. If they didn't intend it to be a 'Ringo song' I can't think why they would have bothered to record it at all on their album. It is to their great credit that the Stones were able to work it up into something half decent that got them high up into the bottom half of the U.K. Top Twenty. Of course it did ziltch in the U.S.
