Why must this creator perish like all of us must? Because nothing lasts forever is my answer (again), nothing, so that's why I say this.
I don't know how this being could have come about from nothing, and it couldn't just always have existed as religious leaders believe and preach. But if this being even exists, it too will be gone one day. I do totally agree it's an answer that can't be proven one way or another, or totally understood, but one must realize that nobody can be correct on this, either, you can only have an opinion on it, but you can't flat out say your belief is the correct one, since there isn't a correct answer to this.
But yes, this is a prime case of "for each his own", no question about it. Guess I should also note since you talked about "losing faith", that I have no faith to lose, since I never really believe in any of this God stuff.
