RE: RE: RE: Suicide... and afterlife

Like It's just a shot away, I was also raised in a Christian family, went to bible study on Sunday mornings before church until I was about 10, 11 years old and then I refused to go anymore (my mom didn't find out for about 2 years that I stopped going) since I never believed in the religion, even when I was a boy, in part thanks to one of my best friends being a Jew. I would say to my mom as a boy, about my best fiend Peter "Is Peter and his parents going to Hell since they don't go to church and weren't baptized?", and my mom would tell me that no, that since they were good people, their God would take care of them. So I would think to myself that they had a better God than we had... That, and the fact that I worried that my maternal grandfather, who I very much loved, but who died when I was only 5... he must have been sent to Hell by God since he was a non-believer who never went to church. My mom would give me the same kind of answer as she did with answering my questions about my friend Peter, that grandpa was in Heaven because he was a good man. Yet bible school taught me that he wasn't! So I could not see believing in this God, since he came across to me as being unfair and flat out evil. I was a true Atheist like my grandpa by age 10 or 11, but didn't really know it yet.

What scares me is if there is an afterlife where will i go?

You would go where everybody else goes, so don't worry about it!

My guess is if there is a afterlife, I bet we don't come back to Earth. More than likely our soul (or whatever you want to call it) will float off into space and maybe in a thousand years we will end up on some planet hundreds of light years away for here. Or maybe we won't. My bet is that dying is just like sleeping, other than you have no dreams, and you never wake up again. It's oblivion for us after life, Ronnie!... Well, more than likely!
