Wow, this is truly outstanding stuff! This audio must be from the 1968 NME show? Mick and the rest of the band sound great, particularly since they'd been off the road for a year or so since the "infamous" '67 European tour. Any myth that Brian had forgotten how to play guitar around this time should be dispelled by this performance, which has some outstanding guitar interplay, especially toward the end of the song when things kick into high gear. If that's indeed Keith wailing away on the solo and lead licks throughout the song, then Brian is doing a quite respectable job of holding down the rhythm. And unlike the R&R Circus recordings from later that year, ALL 5 of the band are prominent in the mix, as it should always have been. Thanks for posting.
