About Jazz -- There is a lot of it - even stuff hailed as works of high art - that I simply DO NOT get into. But Duke Ellington is great and his album with Frank Sinatra is spellbinding. I also love the jazz and jazz fusion that comes along from the late 60s onward. Miles Davis' Bitches Brew is amazing as is Whether Report that has Wayne Shorter and i think others who worked with Miles Davis. Jazz Fusion is just an much more interesting genre to me than the straight up kind of jazz from the earlier eras. I know that makes me a philistine in the eyes of some folks.
