This past saturday was the day that some cities across the country like buffalo participare in ,it was the 12th or 15 th annual such celebration.I had to work so i missed it this year but i try to go most years with 200 bucks in my pocket.Every year several artists participate and release new vinyl lps,or singles,or eps and in past years the stones have particpated.This year the beatles rereleased the single with picture sleeve of strawberry fields and penny lane.There was a list of artists participating this year as usually there are 15 or 20 or 25, but i only glanced at it quickly i believe bob dylan and oingo boingo released something among others.Last year the yardbirds did and i think the stones relesed an ep on vinyl from the got live if you wanted lp.The proceeds go the helping national record stores stay afloat and they give away prizes and have cosplay persons there and bands,fun stuff,pizza and pop.Do they have it in your towns and if so do you guys ever go?Im off the next few days so ill go to record theatre and see what is left of the events stock?
