For the last 2 weeks or so I've been worrying about this flamer, and when a problem like that is heavy on your mind, one may not notice anything else but the problem they are dealing with. Especially in this case with me, where I nor anybody else here did anything at all to this flaming nut, and for him to come back here and do what he has been doing. I mean, how can one's life be so empty that you got to flame a message board that you haven't been a part of for years? Just get on with your life and stop hurting people for no damn reason!
Again on the cop thing, I got a feeling you don't totally understand the differences between the police and a sheriff. Yes, their duties are the same, but the police seem to be the ones who cause the kind of problems like you are noting. But yes, you're correct, it does take a certain kind of person to want to be either a police officer or a sheriff, since in both cases it's a job where you are suppose to control people and arrest people for doing wrong, and although we need such people to do that kind of work, like it or not, they would be the total difference from the way and kind of person that most people are. I would never want to be a cop and do that kind of work, and the one part of the job I hate in running Gasland is being the cop here and enforcing the few rules we have. But then again, for the last year plus we have had zero problems, really none at all, until this sick flamer showed up, and the fact he's flaming in the exact same ugly way he did years ago, well that brings back some very bad memories that I rather not deal with or remember. Plus nobody here wishes to read that crap. But believe me, I rather see him just go away than me having to ask the sheriff to file harassment charges against him, which I'm totally ready to do the next time he tries to post anything here again. There is one thing I am known for in the real word by my friends, that is, if I say I'm gonna do something, I do it! Usually that only covers good things, since I'm never really around bad people or have enemies in the real word. I'm just an old hippie who is peaceful, and if you don't like the way I'm living, then you can just leave this old long-harried hippie dude alone (and I thank Charlie Daniels for that last line of that sentence that I just lifted from his wonderful song).
