He wrote so many great songs with the beatles we cant list them due to time or space constrants lol,or at least typing cramp prevention issues.But when he got too corny with things john hated like maxwells siver hammer or honey pie john laid into him good.As a solo arist everyone just told him everything he created was great and it was not.Lennon eluded to this...you live with straights who tell you you were king,jump when your mama tells you anything.Lennon felt that he was pussy whipped ,excuse my lamguage,and he surrounded himself with yes men in his band wings.Perhaps to some extent lennon was correct
