It's a scary time right now. The chemical weapons use in Syria was an atrocity in every sense of the word. I think something is going to happen here in terms of military action. I am not sure what form it will take, but I think something is coming. We also have a situation in North Korea that is very worrisome.
A fear I have is that Trump might take action just to distract everyone from the situation of his administration at home. That could be bombing North Korea or maybe doing something unilaterally against Asaad's regime in Syria. But what really needs to happen is an action taken by the international community against Syria's leadership, and the US show leadership in this.
To think otherwise, to let this go on... is, in the words of a 90s Jagger/Richards song... to be Blinded By Rainbows.
