...but raising teenagers must be tough.
I've raised too many teenagers and I'm finally on my last one! But my grandson, who turns 17 next month, is really a good kid who causes few problems for his age. When I think how I was at 17, or how his mom was as a teen, holy shit am I lucky with him! I guess in a couple of years he will leave the nest, and for the first time since I was 19, I'll have no kids to raise anymore. Believe me, I look forward to that day after 4+ decades of raising them. I mean you ain't suppose to raise your grandkids, and he's the third one I have, even if his mom is still around helping, I'm too old to be doing this anymore. I was too old to be doing it back 15 years ago when he first started living with me!
