I was never a fan of wireless internet. I'm a true believer that when one goes wireless, one is open to the world. A year or so ago, friends gave me a laptop that their daughter outgrew. I was always the RJ45/CAT5 guy so the whole wireless thing was new on me. Anyway, when I finally went unplugged, I was fascinated by how many wifi hot spots my little orphan computer could pickup. Even more entertaining to me is the pet names people give to their internet connections. Last night while attempting to sign on at Barnes & Noble I noticed two addresses in my zone. Labeled "Franklins iPhone" and "Rebecca's iPhone" I couldn't help but notice two teenagers texting away very near me. Upon leaving last night I nodded to them and said "Good night Franklin, Good night Rebecca" and split.
I could hear them as I walked out. "Do we know him?" "I think he works with my dad" "Oh wait he taught summer school"
