Let's be clear on the meaning of '0overrated

For me, there are a great many bands where I'll just never want more than a greatest hits CD.

All music enjoyment is individual and subjective. Sometimes an artist or band's style just touches you or it evokes something. Personally, I love the slick, smarmy style that Van Halen often has. Those who don't give them a chance might simply not be tapping into the same groove. Check out Dance The Night Away - great song. But some later works are less of the smarmy sound and more well constructed, rock, Even moving at times. Listen to Can't Stop Loving You or one of my all time favs -- Best Of Both Worlds.

I wholeheartedly agree that U2 are overrated. A few truly great songs and then SO MANY mediocre forgettable works.
