RE: RE: RE: Tasty Kakes and other foods (NSC)

Tasty Kakes, with those kinds of addicting products you wonder how they could fail or not expand to other areas? Americans love junk food, especially the kinds they seem to sell. Some of those companies that sell such food, their products are total garbage as far as the high amounts of saturated fats in their food go. We only have 2 brands to choose from out here in the middle of nowhere that sell that kind of junk food, Hostess, which is everywhere all over the country, and Little Debbies, who more than likely sells the worst junk goods on the market that you can eat in the U.S., even if they taste good. Sara Lee started to sell all different kinds of junk goodies a few years back around here, but the only 2 main grocery stores near here now only offer a very limited number of their junk food items now. That's a good thing for me I guess, as I love that kind of junk food (it goes great with the munchies you get from smoking weed). Yet since I know how bad that food is, I only indulge in eating such junk to once a month, no more. Yet they say you would have to eat that crap several times a week for over 20 years or so to really get sick from it, and I never have as a adult, and now that I'm at the age where the body slows down when it comes to getting illnesses like that, plus I shouldn't be around in 20 years anyway if I keep on living the normal life I've been living, I should be dead of old age before 20 years time comes around for me, so maybe it's time to increase the amount of junk food that I enjoy, since there isn't enough time left for it to kill me anymore, LOL!... I noted that not too long ago to a good friend of mine who's a year younger then me, we were actually talking about the electric waves that newer products like cell phones give off, that some won't use or at least will only use with ear plugs or speaker phones, since they won't put such phones to their ears/head. I was thinking I was the only human left who didn't own a cell phone until she told me she didn't have one either because of this. Yet the reason I don't use one has nothing to do with any of that.

As far as Soft Pretzels goes, if you mean those big fat soft ones that they sell in food charts in front of departments stores back east, those are a NYC thing that Philly just borrowed I guess. They sell those wonderful pretzels all over NYC and LI, the best tasting pretzels in the world!... and no, they don't sell those out here in Colorado at all, but hell, they don't even sell real Italian bread out here, either, something I miss big time, since I'm a Italian chef. I mean how do they not sell such bread out here? I was told several years ago that there was one place in Denver that sold such bread, but it turned out not to be true, people in this neck of the woods have no clue what they are missing, since they never eaten such bread! What they call "Italian bread" here is actually the same as French bread, which is very good, but it ain't Italian bread at all! Things like this is why whenever I go back to NY, I only eat certain food there over and over again when I'm there, since you can't get these foods where I live. Well you can get pizza here of course, plus I make my own too, which is pretty good I'm told, but real NYC/LI Pizza is the best pizza on planet Earth, period, and you can only get such pizza back there at real Italian restaurants and or real pizzerias. Such places don't exist here in Colorado, and I've been living here for over 40 years now. Yes we have a lot of places where they sell pizza here, but it isn't NY pizza. I mean, when Domino's is the best pizza around, well you got a problem, and that's the case out here!

Cheese Steak, now there you go, that's 100% from Philly, and out here it is not called Cheese Steak, it is usually called "Philly Cheese Steak" in Colorado.

Okay, so now I'm hungry again, and I don't ever eat after sunset, so I guess I'll just have to stay hungry for the rest of the night!
