Love is very litigious (sue-happy) and seems to be constantly suing someone else in the Beach Boys. He now owns title to the band's name, and summarily "fired" Brian Wilson no less, along with charter members Al Jardine and Davis Marks at the conclusion of the Beach Boys' reunion tour around three years ago. Love hits the road these days with a "Beach Boys" touring band with no original members. Bruce Johnston tags along, having joined the group shortly after Brian quit touring in the mid-60's to concentrate on writing and production.
