Reading comments on BS from black people you'd have to say there is a wide disparity of opinion from "it's out and out racist" (probably the majority these days) to "it is actually a celebration of black women and culture and a calling out of historic abusers."
More generally, black culture's response to the Stones has always been muted and ambiguous. They are some middle class English boys who listened to black music and brought their powerful renditions back to America, mostly for young white people who had hardly heard real "ethnic" music before. While lots of African Americans play with the stones, only a relatively small proportion seem to be "fans". Even Darryl Jones admits he'd never listened to the Stones much before being asked to become their bass player. The bottom line is that most young white people only wanted to listen to black music when filtered through the powerful amps of young English white boys. On the other hand, I think many African Americans are sympathetic to the Stones due to their obvious sincerity and love of black music. And of course, they really helped the black blues players to reach a bigger audience.
