This is very important if you live in the U.S.!!!... The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which is also known as PBS (for TV), and as NPR (for radio), is about to be shut down by Trump. This major new problem, that dickhead Trump wants passed, is now close to happening if we the people don't stop it! Rep. Doug Lanborn, who is one of the biggest do nothing congressmen in the entire Congress, a republican from a district that is solid republican, that's why he doesn't have to do anything but vote the GOP line every time, introduced a bill (a very rare thing for him) for Trump, to 100% end public funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, in other words, put it totally out of business! To me, that's the only TV I ever watch, and the only informational over the air, free TV around! Trump wants it gone, and claims that it should be privately owned, like all other TV stations. If this took place, both PBS and NPR would no longer be commercial free and for the most part, be totally ruined, but more than likely - gone forever! Since it costs less to operate NPR, that might survive, but PBS is doomed if this passes!
It seems everyday this dick wants to get rid of something else that is so very important to the average, normal people of the U.S. and is only for what is best for corporate America - the hell with the average person, including the poor fools who voted for him. I'm sure most of them won't again come 4 years after they see he did nothing for them at all - well, nothing but hurt them.
So for now we have to fight this monster again (every week it's something new with Trump!), but, since this can only be done by a vote of Congress, well a lot of the pigs in there are afraid of their voters, who will vote them out in 2 years if they do that... think... Obamacare. Pig Trump and his party vowed to get rid of it in the first week that Trump was in office, but the outrage from most Americans, who want Obamacare, scarred the shit out of the Republicans - who again depend on being reelected by these same people. So at least for now, that deal is dead in the water. So could this one if enough people speak up for this in the same way that they spoke up for Obamacare. So... please write your congressperson on this. There is a site where it's simple to do this, the letter is already written for you and they will send it it off to whoever your rep is. You can also add your own comments to the letter if you like, but you don't have to, just sign it if you like, that's all it takes! Just click here to send a message to your rep and let him/her know how you feel on this matter: Write Congress to reject this bill and support NPR and PBS. Thanks for helping out to save America from this terrible, popular vote loser, Putin loving, and total piece of shit named Trump!
