Trump has certainly polarized opinion. I think he kind of makes a laughing stock of the US electoral system--especially as he never won the popular vote. On the other hand he DID win according to the rules in place. Therefore he is the President for the next 4 years. Everyone is free to say what they like and campaign for a change right now: but barring another threat to the Union and civil war, I don't see what can be done. People can protest his decisions but not really the fact that he is President--because the electoral college system confirmed him in that role.

In the meantime, I will not refuse to engage with people who voted for Trump. Big stars like Clint Eastwood supported him and I'm sure not going to say now that I don't like his westerns and DH movies because of that.
