It's been an average, boring winter here, with a bit less snow then usual. It's been around 40 degrees in the afternoon for the last few days, and for January that is on the warm side for here. The foot of snow we had last month on the ground is now down to just a bit more than half a foot. We don't usually lose our snowpack in January, but so goes global warning. It's suppose to snow a lot here this weekend, so I need to get to the supermarket by Friday, since there's not too much food left in the house for us. But I hate driving in snow and it's suppose to start snowing Thursday and not stop until Monday, and I can't go today. The only supermarkets near here are one hour away, that's one of the few things I don't care for as far as living here goes, but everything else is worth it. Hopefully I'll get to the supermarket on Friday, as not as much snow is expected on that day.
