The whole band kicks ass here and sounds great, after the first couple spins the one thing that stands out to me is that Charlie aint slowing down. I've only listened to it a couple times but his drums seem to really stick out through out the LP. This is the album a lot of us old timers have been waiting on and it does not disappoint. Right now my favorite piece is Commit A Crime but so far I think that the whole body of work here is excellent, really like I Can't Quit You and love the Little Walter stuff. I broke down and bought the deluxe edition and am pretty happy with it. The book inside is pretty nice but I didn't get home til late last night so I haven't checked out the post cards yet, the box it comes in is smaller than I expected but that also makes it easier to sit on a shelf with other cd's. All in all this was a great outing for the fella's and keep in mind they do have some new material that they will be working on.
