Of course I know about this, I've been a volunteer for many years working for different charities, this is nothing new to me. Back when I was still a kid (under 30, well under 30), yet I was already married with kids, the wife and I worked for this charity in Colorado Springs, even though we didn't live in that city (we lived nearby). But we volunteered at that place even though we were poor and needed money ourselves for our own family. But then after about a year working there, we found out this guy they hired to raise extra cash, and whom we worked for - again as volunteers, was pocketing half the money that was coming in. The pig ended up going to prison over it in time, but I can't tell you how much it hurt to know we worked our asses off for nothing while some asshole stole money from the place. To be honest, we didn't do volunteer work again for a long time after that, since it left a real bad taste in our mouths, but in time we did return to being volunteers again, since it is a good thing to do. So yes, it gets me going when I hear anybody put down charities, or make false claims about them. Almost everybody involved in such work are the salt of the earth, period! I'm glad you clarified you statement on that, thanks, but there will always be pigs in this mean world, but let's not talk about them, let's talk about the people who need help and are in bad shape, and how your donations are what helps them out.
