From '63 - '65 nobody did covers better than the Stones. They didn't mimic the originals, and always put their own stamp of originality on them. The Chess Chicago recordings are brilliant, and although the band would eventually come up with original songs, they never sounded better during those formative years. Given that early success in interpreting American blues & R&B classics, I'm eagerly looking forward to this new album.
