LOL! Yeah, to talk on certain bands, one needs a license. Actually, to do a lot of stuff over the air you need a license. Remember back in the 70's with the CB craze? the FCC required a license but of course, few did. To give credit to the FCC they quickly realized the desire for folks to communicate and let open bands be had. You can go into so many electronic stores and sporting good stores and buy walkie talkies. 'course we call 'em 2way radios nowadays. But buyer be aware, if you communicate on one, I and a slew of others, might be listening!!
