First and foremost despite what assorted nut jobs profess, it was NOT and "inside job". On the other hand there was an abundance of intelligence coming in that dismissed or ignored by Bush-Cheney-Condi et all. The fact that vital intelligence was not shared between federal agencies provided an opening to the terrorists who perpetrated the attack. As far as conspiracy theories go, just about anything and everything that happens (especially the bad stuff but in the political realm as well) will spawn one, known facts notwithstanding, and it's not all that difficult to get people to go along with them, especially in the age of social networking and so-called
reality" shows.
