We do have a food store in town, but it's not a supermarket, and it's about the size of a 7-11, and the prices there are even higher than what you find at 7-11! So other than buying milk and bread there every so often, we try not to buy anything else, just can't afford shopping at that place, and it only sells a limited number of items anyway!
I can't stand coyotes, other than they can be cool to listen to at night, they got a cool cry indeed, much better than listening to a dog barking. But they kill and eat cats and dogs here, and we got both, so we got to be very careful when we take the dog out at night. Our cat is a house cat because of the coyotes and big owls here. He's 9 years old and had he been an outside cat, he would have been killed years ago. The average outside cat lives about 5 years or so here.
But the bottom line is, the bears, coyotes, mountain lions, deer, etc were all here first, we invaded their homes, so they got a right to be here, just like we do!
