I'm a charter member of the desktop dinosaur club as well. I don't quite get the addictive obsession that many people seem to have with their mobile devices. Communication culture has degraded because of them, not mention public safety with texting drivers on the road. I have a smart phone but I don't use it much, only on occasion when I'm away from the house for phone messages and navigation. And having large hands and near-sighted vision I also need a large keyboard and monitor to process information beyond a snail's pace. For music, I listen to CD's, vinyl, and cassette tapes. I still have a good tape player, and some good quality (mfg early 80's or later) tapes can be found in many thrift stores for about a quarter a pop.
