Yeah, I'm not at all surprised you know about them, and even Crestone, but the average person doesn't. There is a bunch of folks from northern California who have summer places here. But so many don't know of this place at all, even many living in the rest of Colorado. When I was moving here 15 years ago from the Colorado Front Range, which is about 3 to 4 hours NE from here, so many of the locals back there would ask me, "Where's Crestone?". The only ones who knew of this place were hippies and artists, also those into eastern religions, or hiking fourteeners, and those who are into hot springs and naturism. That's mainly because the greater Crestone area is in a location in the middle of nowhere, very few live in this part of Colorado, and although around (just under) 2,000 of us live here in the summer, a lot less of us do in the winter, maybe 600 people are here from December to March.
