Really? You don't think so? You got me wondering, what does a person who looks like a hippie freak, look like to you?
As I noted, although this list is not confined to just hippies who were freaks, it is the look itself only, that we are going after... so somebody like, say, Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, he never was a hippie, and in fact he disliked what hippies stood for, but he still looked like a hippie freak, more so than many others on the list. But yes, it's mainly the hippie-freak look that we are really going for, but it appears that, looking at the early results, that the choices are more so just going for the freak look in general, like the look that the members of KISS have. The glam rockers listed are so far seeing the most votes right now, although yes, in the '60s and into the early '70s, that was a hippie look too, even if a band like Alice Cooper were clearly not hippies, they were glam-punk rockers, who only looked like hippies - other than maybe in the early days when they dressed in drag. Same could be said for the other glam rockers who did the same thing. But all of those bands are getting the most votes early on, so far. We shall see if that hold ups as the poll moves on.... and damn, so far a very high vote count early on for this poll question. I like that of course!
