Funny how you forget things! "Dandelion" was always a song Keith loved, he even named his oldest daughter after the song, until his mother (who raised the girl for him and Anita in their junkie days - or daze), renamed her, since she hated the name given to her granddaughter, she didn't want the kid name after a weed I guess! But anyway, I decided to give the song another listen after reading your comment about hearing Keith at 15 seconds, and if I learned one thing, the session logs are wrong on this one, since they don't list Keith singing at all in any of the sessions, and when I went to YouTube, and I found this very early demo of "Dandelion", which I have on tape and had totally forgot about - and only Keith is singing on the song at this point (you can't miss hearing Keith's voice on this one!), no MJ at all. He's really just humming on this demo, but doesn't that count as singing? Yet he wasn't listed as on vocals for the song in the sessions logs, perhaps because it ain't backing vocals?
As far as hearing him at 15 seconds, I hear Mick singing lead and backing vocals, not Keith, but it isn't that clear, either, it could be Keith I guess. I noticed another website noted Bill singing the backups on this song, but again, he's not listed either. Guess we will never know for sure!
