I had heard the audio from the radio simulcast and had seen pics of the show and wondered why it was never included. I guess because of Time limitations on video tapes?
No, it was Mick. He really wasn't suppose to be singing that night, he only showed up to hang out backstage with his friends, and he was talked into getting out on stage before the show ended to sing with Bowie. He agreed to do so as long as his performance wasn't shown, since he felt he wasn't dressed well enough for the show.... I know, how ridiculous, he looked fine, but we all know how vain Mick can be, so that isn't a surprise. But it was a loss for him, as he showed that nite that he didn't need the Stones - or some stupid outfit to perform on stage live with. If he only knew most of his fans don't care what he wears, it's only the fans who he doesn't have who might care, and he doesn't need and will never get them to be fans anyway, but back in '86 he didn't realize that.
