On some songs, be it only a few, Jagger/Richards have spelled a word or two in their lyrics incorrectly on purpose, but they aren't like - say the band Slade, who do this on almost all of their song lyrics and song titles.
The song you note ins't a Jagger/Richard song, so I would have to check a few other lyric sites to make sure this is just a misprint and not a word that was meant to be spelled incorrectly. I'm sure in this case it was just copied that way by me when I put the lyric pages together way back in '98 and it was a misprint. That was way too long ago to recall, but if you ever see something like that, please do point it out to me in an email and I'll check it out. I still to this day, 18 years after I put the Lyrics pages together, will have people write me, noting a lyric that's incorrect or has a big typo in it!
I am like many other men, my spelling totally sucks (I use spell-check all the time, including here at Gasland), and since I'm also dyslexic, I will almost never catch a mistake like this, as with this condition, your brain and eyes are playing games on you and you just don't see words right the first time you check, unless you are looking very, very close. So thanks for letting me know and I'll check it out in a bit.
