Thanks for your reply to my question of about 2 weeks ago on the Stones cover LPs. I just figured more fans would like original material from them even early on (but I was wrong, I guess), and not putting out as much original stuff in the early '60s was one reason they took a back seat to the Beatles, as writing your own stuff was a new thing that really the Beatles started and at first the Stones didn't stay even with them on that.
Plus you've been around long enough MM to know that nobody is gonna put you down for weird choices, I can be the king of that myself when it comes to a lot of things and I'm still here as the Gasland sheriff. But of course with Exile, that's one thing I've taken a lot of heat on here, too, yet thanks to this board I found out I'm not alone as feeling the LP is overrated. Hard-nosed fans were just afraid to say so, but I never was. Seems like most of the old time Exile Gasland Mafia isn't around anymore, anyway, so I think we're safe to see another Gassy day!
