Sgt Peppers stands above all for the Beatles and for most of the era they worked in.
"Exile On Main Street vs Tattoo You"??
That's a really tough one. That's not like comparing Dirty Work to Sticky Fingers where the answer is pretty obvious.
Both are awesome albums. Man, I would be thrilled to know that the Stones have another Tattoo You in them, to define rock, to make such an impact, to set a standard for others.
But Exile is glorious. I'll say Exile just because of its breadth and depth and that its stands for all time of what a Rock album can be. No easy choice here
