I know time can't be turned back, and I just think they both prefer to be in their own bubbles. If either of them wanted to meet up for a meal in a nice restaurant now and again, just to hang out and get to know one another as they are today, then I am sure it could happen and could be really beneficial to both of them - and I think that both Mick and Keith are too stubborn. Whenever I hear anything about their conflicts, it's like hearing two bickering children to my ears - only they're both masquerading as adults - which chronologically does correspond to the outer reality. LOL. I agree that for decades Mick Jagger had no choice but to be an autocratic leader. I guess Keith Richards would prefer a more democratic process, and for that to occur, all band members need to take equal responsibility - i.e. having the ability to respond, 365 days a year. It does seem that they both want to be closer again, and that they are clueless as to how to go about it after all this time. Furthermore, I can't imagine the two of them sitting in a room together having the ability to sit uncomfortably trying to sort through the whole emotional muddle - they would need a facilitator to help them through that, and .... maybe they're just from a generation where men don't sort through muddles in that way. JMO.
