Just a few things I forgot to mention. There were the original hand written lyrics of some songs. I wish I'd done more studies in handwriting analysis in my early 20s, because I was fascinated by Mick's handwriting - some of the "g"s and "y"s were different to each other - I was particularly fascinated by the "y"s in one song - wasn't even noticing what song it was - because some were written with big loops and others were like staccato notes. I started to look to see whether particular words altered, at first I thought that words relating to himself "my" "myself" had those loooong "y"s with tails going back almost across the letter in front of it, and whenever I saw the word "why", the "y" was just straight down a little way. However, there really didn't seem to be any consistency in that. I have always been fascinated by the long curls of letters when people write, because it all has symbolic meaning - though I can't remember quite what at present!! LOL!!!
I also forgot to mention the two little rooms either side of the final 3D movie. We walked through a replica backstage area on the way to the movie, and afterwards there was a really nice room dedicated to the other musicians who contribute or have contributed to the Rolling Stones - some nice footage of Nicky Hopkins as well as Ian Stewart for a few moments.
I also didn't name the hand held device properly - it was way more than an audio device - there were videos, photos, as well as audio clips. I highly recommend it - maybe they'll have incorporated it into the experience more by the time it travels abroad. I still think it was a brave innovative idea, and I'd like them to figure out ways for people to stop and listen - maybe a bit like those coach tour holidays (that's bus tours in the USA), like Cosmos tours, where you're transported and told where to get off to take photos, where to take a stroll, etc., etc. A few minor directions, maybe on the small piece of paper handed out showing the different rooms with their numbers - would make it far easier to listen and see everything on the handheld device - the information there is wonderful.
