I noted in my reply that AC would go for the sound they had on their album Love it to Death, when I should have put down that it's the Killer LP that they are going for on the new album. Really, the 2 albums have the same sound for the most part, they were both made in early 1971, so they were both recorded around the same time and both of them are great!

Plus you are correct, "Train Kept a Rolling" was only meant to sound live, but it was made in the studio and only features Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner on the guitars. Very strange how they did that and you gonna wonder why they did it? IMO, the best guitar sound heard on any of their records is on this one and yet it ain't Whitford and Perry (yet I very much like this guitar team), and both of them played this song live many times with the band, in fact, it was one of the first songs they played live as a band from what I've read. Yet they made a "fake" live recording of the song (when there wasn't a need to) that doesn't feature their 2 guitarists. Anybody know why Whitford and Perry didn't play on the studio version of this great song?
