Totally agree with everything you said, Keno. It's the same here in the UK - People are people the world over - having different accents or speaking in different languages makes no difference at all. I feel so at home in my coastal N.California home - it's an artist colony, so lots of spiritual people, lots of creative people - the very best of N.California really. My Vancouver Island home feels a bit similar - though it's in a traditional suburb - there's some wonderful pockets of wonderful people in town - there's a big Buddhist centre there - with all sorts of community projects going on all the time. I will have more time this summer to get to know people better. My intuition sent me there!! I'm very fond of Buddhism too, though I must say I like the spiritual teachings of all the religions (well they all say the same thing at that level - beyond duality). I think the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path in Buddhism are the only things we really need in life - though obviously it's way better to listen to our inner conscience. Oh, I could go on for ages and I'm going out tonight, just finished dinner - Talya must get her skates on Ronnie!!!
