As a retired businessman, I can tell you that you learn that business is a lot like politics as far as what road you will take in conducting your business in taking a liberal, conservative, or middle of the road approach. Whereas Mick is a liberal person in life when it comes to politics, when it comes to business, he's very much a conservative businessman. Since MJ is the main man conducting business matters for the Stones, we can see this in the choices that the band ends up making. Yet I always found in business that taking the middle of the road approach was the best way to go, hell, it always worked out best for me, and it doesn't matter if you running a small business, or a large one.
Personally I think Keith would've been happier walking down that path, and maybe that's why he gets so up his own arse putting others down. JMO.
Interesting, and perhaps true. Keith hasn't been happy on the business side of things in the Stones since he lost all of the band's control to Jagger back in the '70s, when heroin got in his way and Mick took over running the band without his help. He has come across as not caring anymore about the business side of things, it's been that way for decades now, and that was about the same time when he started to put down his fellow band members. So maybe that is part of what bugs him?
