Mick trying to cash in on her insurance sounds just like something he would do, but not because he's heartless, but because that's who MJ is, a businessman and money has always meant something to him and it doesn't matter how much he has, he is one of those who will never be satisfied and always will want more, even if he doesn't need another penny. But that aside, I feel that he's being treated unfairly in this matter.
Mick clearly loved the girl and it doesn't matter if they broke-up or not just before her death; my guess is that they didn't and the stupid media is just looking for something nasty to write up about him. Fans should just mind their own business and stop suggesting why he posted her photo on Facebook on her birthday. He did it because he loved her and misses her, there was no other reason and why must some be so insulting towards him on this?
It's weird to read this because the same thing happened to my family last month when the 5th anniversary of my wife's death came around. My step-daughter, whom I've met maybe 10 times in my life and hardly know, posted a photo of Sue on her Facebook page and titled it something like "Remembering Mom on the day she passed away, 5 years ago today". My oldest daughter saw it and made it ruin her day, since Sue was only my step-daughter's mom in blood only. The girl was raised by Sue's mother, as Sue was only 17 when she had her and let her mom and stepdad raise and adopt her. She never once called Sue "Mom", since she wasn't, and my kid seeing her use the word "mom" bugged my daughter big time. I guess I understand both of their feelings, but I told my kid to let it go and not be pissed at her half sister, who she keeps in touch with mainly by social media only. But at least in this case it's a blood family member getting upset, unlike some fans who have no business to comment on what MJ did. Mick didn't post that photo for any reason other than because he still loves her and misses her, period. People putting him down for this aren't really his fans, anyway.
