Stones poll: It has blown me away in seeing BTB lose as much as it has, especially to those 2 cover LPs, as I noted in the poll post, and now it's just one vote above .500 in the standings, but I can't vote for it for that reason, as this week, well, I dig ABB more, and that's what I voted for!
Beatles poll: Once again, I'll go with LIB, even if I do love RS. LIB is so damn underrated, and this polling series, where it's now heading to a 1-7 record, only proves it! But perhaps as we get to the earlier Beatles LPs, which are all next up, it will win once again? It did kick Yellow Submarine's ass in it's one win, but will that be it? Can I put it up against Dirty Work perhaps, Ronnie?
Rock poll: N.W.A. by a few light years! However, I do disagree that rap shouldn't be allowed in the Rock Hall, as it does come from rock music after all, like it or not. Only thing is, to me anyway, I haven't heard a single rapper good enough to get into the Hall yet. It's a very low class form of rock music, really barely music and more so dirty poetry.
N.W.A. shouldn't be allowed in if only for what their stupid name stands for. Not that I believe in censoring, but if white people can't say that one word, then you don't use it in your name, it's nothing but a asshole move on the members part to go with that name. Well if nothing else, they all do have nasty attitudes, but they lack the talent to be included in the Rock Hall, just like every other rap group in the Hall. Plus I should note, I've been exposed to a lot of rap and hip-hop, I know it well enough, and it has its place for those who like it. I just don't care for it, but it's better than disco.
VS poll: Had to go with Janis' cover, nothing comes close to it, and the song has been covered by a few others, too! Still, Erma did a nice job with her take of the song!
