That anchor seems to have his facts wrong. The swing vote / tie-breaker for this court is usually Kennedy and occasionally Roberts. Scalia was inflexible and in the tank so far to the right that he considered torture just fine and dandy, as well as unlimited money in politics (money = "free speech", and the more free speech the better blah balh). As far as the GOP goes, they are already on record as having stolen the 2000 Presidential election, so what's to stop them from abusing the system yet again in order to adversely affect the course of history?
