The US versions of all the Beatles LPs were crap compared to this UK counterparts. Since the Beatles had no control over the US releases, and they didn't like how they were handled, they are better off forgotten, as they really are today. You can't even buy them any more unless they are sold in special packages. So for our polls, we should only really consider the UK album and not the US one, and I should have noted that in the poll thread.
Even as a young teenager with very little money, I shelled out extra bucks so I could purchase the UK version of what would become my favourite Beatles album. I don't think I ever heard the US version and I certainly couldn't list the contents.
It never even occurred to me to consider the US version for this poll Ronnie. Besides, when the CDs came out they all had the UK versions of those early albums. There should have been only one version of those albums from the start, but greed prevailed (jeez, what a surprise... not!)
