I think it's a more relaxing way to listen to music, because you know you're not doing other things, except maybe reading. Once you fire up the digital side of things, it's easy to sit down and then in ten minutes, get a snack. Then notice the dishes need done. Then maybe run the vacuum real quick. And pick up that crap by the front door. You end up making music your background.
